DCON

We carried out several performance tests that have demonstrated how the migration from a centralized platform to a distributed environment can improve the scalability of the overall architecture. The tests we carried out focused on two aspects:

• the number of users the system is able to manage;
• the CPU load and hardware resources consumption given a certain amount of users in the system.

The pictures below show:

• the linear growth in the number of users related to the number of involved DCON islands;
• the CPU consumption for different distributions of the users, given the overall number of 300 users in the system.
